Heritage Trail
Enjoy a self-guided tour of Plattsburgh's unique
history and natural points of interest starting from the City Beach
and ending at the old Air Force Base. Descriptive signs and markers
trace the route for bikers and walkers.
Riverwalk
Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beautiful
Saranac river which once powered America's early industry and provided
a route for pleasure craft to downtown. The walk stretches from the
Champlain Monument to the Saranac's south shore.
City Farmer's Market
Located in the city parking lot, the market
is open every Wednesday and Saturday, 9am - 3pm, from May through September.
Local produce farmers, food makers and crafters are on hand during those
