“City Police make arrest in crack cocaine/heroin bust”

On October 10, 2017, the Plattsburgh City Police arrested Rebecca A. Jackson 29 of Schenectady, New York. The arrest stems from a search warrant executed by the Plattsburgh Police Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit on a motel room located in the Plattsburgh vicinity. A State Police K9 Unit assisted in the execution of the warrant.
During the execution of the warrant issued by Plattsburgh City Court, Jackson was found to be in possession of approximately 65 individually packaged bags of crack cocaine and 90 individually packaged bags of heroin. Police estimate the street value of the narcotics to be in excess of $10,000. Other items recovered were items used in the distribution of illegal narcotics and approximately $1600.00 in U.S. Currency. Jackson was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree a Class “B” Felony. Jackson was arraigned in Plattsburgh City Court and committed to the Clinton County Jail on $20,000 cash / $50,000 bond.
The execution of the search warrant was a result of an investigation conducted by the Plattsburgh City Police Departments Narcotics Enforcement Unit, the Clinton County District Attorney’s Office and the New York State Police.
